Why I’m Running
I am committed to making Alaska a place where families can thrive. As a longtime resident of Northeast Anchorage, I have seen firsthand the opportunities that make our state special and the challenges that many families face today. I believe in the power of strong communities, personal responsibility, and effective leadership.
I am running to bring practical, common-sense solutions to Juneau and ensure the voices of District 21 residents are heard. My priorities are focused on strengthening families, growing our economy, improving public safety, and creating opportunities for future generations.
Economic Growth
Government must be disciplined, but Alaska must also grow. We cannot cut our way to prosperity, and we cannot spend our way to prosperity—we must create an environment where Alaskans can prosper.
Public Safety
Every Alaskan deserves to feel safe in their home, at work, in their neighborhood, and while enjoying our parks and public spaces. Public safety is one of the most fundamental responsibilities of government, and it must be a top priority.
Infrastructure
Infrastructure is the backbone of a strong economy and safe communities. Alaska’s roads, bridges, ports, airports, schools, utilities, and broadband systems connect our families, support our businesses, and keep our communities safe.
Education
Public education should be funded responsibly and sustainably—at a level the state can fiscally support while protecting Alaska’s long-term financial health. Simply spending more money is not enough; we must invest wisely.
Natural Resources
Alaska’s resources belong to Alaskans. We must develop them responsibly, protect them wisely, and use them to create opportunity for the next generation.
Integrity in Public Service
Public office is a public trust. The people of Alaska deserve elected officials who are honest, transparent, accountable and willing to do what is right – even when it isn’t the easiest or most politically popular choice.
